Nike once again relies on ICG solutions from IM Projects
The American multinational has opened in Barcelona the largest store in Spain, the result of Nike’s expansion policy in Europe. The establishment, located in El Corte Inglés of Portal del Ángel Avenue, has the latest news of all product categories of the firm of Oregon, and a Corner exclusively dedicated to the sale of FC Barcelona products. The firm makes the Ciudad Condal its reference at an international level. The agreement reached between Nike and El Corte Inglés is unique, since for the first time this large area dedicates an entire plant to a single brand.
The new opening reinforces the professional relationship between the ICG Group and Nike. The multinational manages other emblematic establishments such as the FC Barcelona stores or the staff store in Mas Blau del Prat del Llobregat industrial estate with ICG solutions.
The implementation has been carried out by IM Projects, Master Provider in Barcelona. One of the peculiarities has been to integrate the FrontRetail point of sale software in the cash collection, control and closing system used by El Corte Inglés in all its centers. Another important aspect has been the connection of ICGManager with the European headquarters of Nike, in Holland, which allows to automate the export of all the information that is generated.
For the management of sales, the ICG BeatlePOS have been installed with a second screen that allows advertising to be displayed according to the items purchased by the customer.
The FrontRetail Mobile mobility solution has also been installed, which employees, using tablets or smartphones, can obtain information from the stock available in the warehouse, improving customer service, and reading articles with a barcode for reduce queues and increase sales.
