It reaches the two proposed objectives: it maintains the lower detail level (till, ticket, item, day, hour..) of all sales in the OLAP database and registers the accumulated sales in ICGManager, necessary for the Hypermarket management, but without the management database acquiring an untouchable dimension in processes times.
Updates continuously the tills databases, with the items and price changes generated by the ICGManager users. Insertion of all sale registries generated by tills in the OLAP database. When receiving a cash closing registry of a Point of Sale, it makes an accumulated of all sale registries of that till and inserts them grouped in the ICGManager database. |

| Centralized network of points of sale |
The solution in this case would be the same as each one of the points of sale, but the shops’ databases would be managed from a central database on a server using a simple communications infrastructure via Internet.
The central computer thus sends information to each of the points of sale (articles, prices, promotions, loyalty campaigns, forms of payment, currency etc.) and receives in real time all the information generated in the stores whilst maintaining freedom in daily management and keeps working even if the Internet connection is down.
The solution is scalable according to needs and the dimensions of the establishment and the chain of own or franchise stores. |
